Colour...

I've been watching LFW on lfw.tv all weekend and doodling things I liked during.
(mainly due to the fact I am sick to death of my project and wanted to actually enjoy drawing again...)
This is another stick and ink job- (I seem to work better with the pressure of knowing that one wrong line and I've fucked the whole thing up).
I then got bored again... took a picture (It's A3 and my scanner is only A4) and attempted my first time at colouring on PS.
I didn't really vary the colours just played with opacity, and I'm not good with tone or colour at all so it's quite messy. But I think I like the "painterly" effect.
I might opt for PS colouring in the future. This took about 15 minutes to do and I think if I invested more time as I get more confident with it the results will look much more professional and finished (also means I don't have to buy paints....)

Making Collages

Looking at Ancient...

Greek art and their composition, I noticed that most of the imagery was combined with shapes. Using this as an influence:

I decided to create a fashion illustration interpreting Vena Cava ready to wear ( a certain outfit that caught my eye... desperately seeking a toned stomach so I can wear crop tops all summer long)

I drew the whole thing in biro, no pencil!!!, scanned it (for some reason it came out a lot darker, grey almost even though the paper was white??! but I think I prefer it like this?) and used the dodge tool to add highlights.

Haven't done anything else to it yet but I may neaten it up a bit more?

I'm really lacking behind on this project though so I can't really dedicate too much of my time to this :/

 The whole thing isn't in proportion, but I wasn't aiming for something too accurate.

It was within a circle but I drew in on A3 and scanned on an A4 scanner (so it got cut off)
