Who knows

ink, scanned, coloured.
erm.
I toyed with the idea of entering a competition based on the senses for about an hour (when I was doing this, it's supposed to be a combination of touch and hearing? I don't know) but gave up. I realised my initial free hand ink and stick drawing was badddddddddd. It's fine doing that freehand stuff when it's left as it is, but if you add photoshop- something far more polished it really emphasises the initial flaws.
This is the terrible result.

This is how I spend my Saturday nights.

I think I'd actually have this as wallpaper AHA

hand drawn then coloured on Photoshop.
I don't know why I decided to put cute little animal's heads on cupcakes, but I like it.

Cup Cats

More photoshop practice, playing around with a doodle I did for my sister and which may or may not be published somewhere soon.

Yes. I have spent my friday night colouring in cats.
They go in order, I've only really messed around with opacity instead of trying to mix colours- I'm awful with colour! But by the third cup-cat I was mixing a few shades.
Nothing amazing.
I think I might invest in a tablet and start doing this stuff properly.

Preview

of my Editorial, based on greek mythology and the active photography genre (end result not so active)
I was told to loosen up my style even more and use colour.
so I whacked out my poster paint... yes I have... a white... (I don't really do paints because that involves colour) and had to mix that with watercolours (the set that I've had since GCSE Art and Design). I used an old brush and my trusty stick. Overall each image took about ten minutes to do.
I worked freehand on top of a printed image, rescanned then did the layout.
I like the raw-ness of the final outcome, it's a lot different from anything I've done so far.
To be honest though, I just give up.
I can't afford to get them printed to scale either, I've spent over £100 this term on printer ink, paper and the three thousand sketch books they want handed in.
Need to prep for my presentation then start thinking about my essay- hand in date for essay.... 11 days from now.
Gosh.

P.S this is not the best one ;)
